You always hear people say thay you have plenty of time to find Mr. Right and get married and start a family. Well, I'm starting to wonder exactly how much time one needs.....I was in a relationship for 7 years to a guy I started dating in high school. We have since parted ways and I have been single for 5 years . I'm still waiting on that special someone to "sweep" me off my feet. All of the guys I have met are either immature, young, selfish, not nice, or have more issues that I care to deal with. So, where exactly do you go to meet a quality guy? Most of my friends have been married, divorced, had kids, or are too young to think about settling down. Most of us are in the same boat, it just doesn't become an issue until you hear 30 knocking on your door. So, I'm sure it will happen but how many frogs do you have to kiss before you find your Prince Charming?

I hear ya on this one! Weirdly enough for me (is weirdly even a word?), I'm sorta seeing - but not trying to get too official yet with - a guy that I went to elementary, jr high, and high school with. We haven't talked since high school, and he recently got in touch with me and we totally hit it off (at least as great friends, if not more).
So this makes me think, really? I knew him all along and I had to go through all of the other crap to get to him again?
Of course I KNOW the answers to the whys of those questions, but still.
I'm in the "it'll happen when it's supposed to happen" frame of mind. And while I'm waiting, I'm just going to enjoy MY life.
