All I need is "Over The Rainbow"...haha

I know I haven't blogged in a week or so but nothing has happened lately to let the whole world know about. Sad, huh? Well, last night I was on the couch with Audreia(my roommate) and Andrea( another best friend) and we were doing our weekly ritual of American Idol watching. Our absolute fav is Jason Castro....he's not the best but he's just so cute and goofy. Not to mention his style is unique. But anyway, we were watching and we all knew that he was probably going to be the one who was voted off. So after all of the corny performances and questions from the viewers segment, the announcement was made that it was indeed Castro who would be going home....we all knew it was going to happen but we were disappointed that it did. I thought, "Man, I really enjoy watching him every week on this show, what am I going to do now that he's gone?" ....but I kept it to myself. Then this morning, my alarm went off at 6:30 and it is set to the Jason Castro version of "Over the Rainbow", and I smiled. I don't know why but that version is just so peaceful to me...and then I realized I can listen to him every morning when my alarm goes off so I will still hear him sing. It's silly, I know, but for some reason it made me smile. =)
