Do I have a "Please be rude to me " stamp on my forehead? We have two patients( one male and one female) who are repeatedly rude to me for no specific reason! They are both in their late 60's early 70's and I don't know if they they think that gives them the right of passage to be rude but it's very irritating!!!! I am considerably younger than them and they think that It's ok to talk down and rude to me....well, newsflash, age doesn't matter.......rude is rude and I'm tired of it! I tell my boss everytime they are and he just blows it off. Well, this morning, "Martha" was extremely rude to me and hung up on me in mid-sentence.....can you believe that? Well....I have a short fuse so I turned around and went off on my boss and told him that if she was rude to me ONE more time that I was going to be rude back. I should get respect like everyone else in this office. She doesn't do that to anyone else here. So maybe that will encourage him to speak up for me this afternoon when she graces us with her hateful presence! UGH!!
