The Dark Knight Review

Andrea and I went to see "The Dark Knight" on Friday morning when It premiered nationwide. It was not a disappointment at all.....definitely lived up to the expectations that had the media in a frenzy over it! If you didn't know that Heath Ledger was The Joker you would not be able to tell. He transformed into his character so much that it didn't look or sound anything like him. It was a little on the creepy side knowing that he has passed. And the media had said that his charater had made him go into a deep depression and induced insomnia because of the dark nature of the character.There were a few funny parts through out the movie......and i didn't care for Maggie Gyllenhal's character. She was just kinda there...not much to her. Christian Bale did a good job as Batman but I will say that the voice he used when he transformed into Batman was ridiculous......it was deep and raspy but in a hideous way. But all in all, it did not let down and I might even purchase it when it comes out on DVD. : )
