The Weekend

Andrea and I went to the see "My Best Friend's Girl" on Friday. It wasn't that good and I knew there was a good chance of that going in. But there were a few parts that were hilarious! And At one point, the only people laughing in the whole theater were us. And then, Andrea decided to let out a snort...haha! After that, people were laughing.

Before the movie, we went to eat at Razzoo's( Cajun food). I had never eaten there before and it was pretty good. For an appetizer, we had Fried Pickles. Then I had what they called "Chicky Tenders"..haha! Then, we decided to order a fishbowl( It's the only way its served) of Gator Punch, a fruity combination of 6- yes 6- kinds of clear liquor. They bring it to you with 2- 2ft. straws.....and that's if its a junior size, which we got. They have a bigger version for 4 people.....This was the first time for both of us to have it and it was a task...

The Gator Punch, Jr.

Me drinking it up....

Andrea drinking it up.....

We were only able to finish about half of it- we had a movie to catch and a car to drive!
Saturday, I spent some time with my roommate. She has a boyfriend now, so I don't see her much. But we woke up early and spent the early morning running around. We went to her nephew's flag football game in the heat......but only stayed for about 45 minutes. We were in our hometown, so we try to avoid long stays when possible...haha! Too many people to avoid!
Then, we went to Target and to eat lunch at TGI Friday's. That was nice to sit and talk for a while......then we couldn't resist Ulta( which is in the same parking lot). It's like a toy store for me......I could stay in there all day. Then, we parted ways and I went home to grab a quick a quick nap before the Rangers game with my older sister.
When we got to the game, we found out it was Hispanic Heritage Night at the ballpark. They had a mariachi band playing at the front entrance which was funny. Then, they had some little Hispanic girls dancing in their cultural attire.
The Ranger lost of course because that's what they do.....final score- Angels,7 Rangers,3. Then they had a kind of end of the season/Hispanic heritage fireworks show. They have some of the best fireworks shows. They always do them to music and every show has a theme. This one was to oldies by Frankie Valli. Pretty Cool!!
Then Sunday, was cleaning day and FOOTBALL!! My cowboys won their 3rd straight game...They are so far undefeated!! It's going to be a great season.....How 'bout them Cowboys!!
