Well, It is OU/Texas weekend here in Dallas. It's only 8:15am and I have already heard both OU and Texas fight songs multiple times on the radio. That's all every one's talking about on every station. And have seen people on my way to work with those obnoxious car flags hanging out of their windows.....UGH! I happen to have both a Texas and an OU T-shirt( from my many travels to Oklahoma for my sister). I can honestly say, I will not be wearing either one of them this weekend. I will not contribute to the craziness this year by showing my support. The crime level goes up and it is complete chaos in Dallas at this time every year. That's all that will be on the news for the next couple of days.
They had a rundown this morning on the radio as to which clubs are hot to go to if you are from Oklahoma. And who's having the best Texas/OU Pre-parties. Is this really necessary? If you are from OU, you deserve to be lost here in the great state of Texas!!! haha!
I don't particularly like college football but I will be watching the game at home tomorrow. I am usually at the state fair(which is where the game takes place) on this particular weekend. Not for any specific reason, that just seems to be the weekend I usually end up attending. But due to the money crunch I am in for NYC, I'm not going to the fair this weekend. It can be expensive......and it will be the first time I have missed it in years!! But it's all in my quest to go to New York, so I think I can live.
