CMA Awards

I'm a huge country music fan. So last night I found myself planted in front of the television watching the Country Music Awards.

Here is a rundown of what I thought of the show:

George Strait will always be a timeless classic. The song he performed last night was not that great but he always will be.... Sugarland's performance was good.....Jennifer's choice of clothing on the other hand was hideous! I can't watch her dance because her arms get out of control.

Keith urban performed twice last night. Once, in the opening of the show with Brad Paisley and then later in the show. The second performance was equally as good, but his attire was outstanding the second time around. He had on black dress pants,black vest, black button down, and black tie. Now normally, I don't like all black but for some reason it looked really good on him. And his wife, Nicole Kidman, was there. She is so pale she looks like she has gingivitis when she smiles because her gums look so pink compared to her light skin.

Brad Paisley is a funny guy. He co-hosted the show with Carrie Underwood( not a big fan of hers) and did a decent job. He also had two performances. His music is a combination of classic sounding and current. And I like that he always wears his cowboy hat!!

I love Miranda Lambert's music. I normally don't like female country singers but for some reason her music I like. I think it's the edgy sound it has. But last night, she toned it down with a ballad....and she did an amazing job! Great vocals and she looked adorable.

So, I touched on the people that I liked from last night. Kellie Pickler performed and I must say she looked really, really good. The dress she had on was black, leathery,tight, and short but she looked good in it. And her hair was cute too! Normally, I don't really like her music but she was decent last night. Also, since when did The Eagles become country? They had a performance last night, along with Kid Rock and Lil' Wayne...yes, you heard me right, Lil' Wayne. He was playing guitar in Kid Rock's band.....awkward!! I have no life right now because I'm saving for my trip, otherwise I would have a few more interesting things to post about other than my new found love of youtube or my television viewings. Sorry.... hang in there. It will be over in about 3 or 4 months...haha!
