It's just not sanitary....

I work in a small dental office and have been here for 7 years. By being here that long, I have noticed some people's very bad habits.......

Since when is it ok to take a magazine from the waiting room area and take it in the bathroom with you? And then, put it back in the magazine rack? That is just disgusting!!! I quickly went and grabbed it and put it in the trash!! Not acceptable! And then washed my hands.

And why do people not wash their hands after using the restroom? I wash my hands a million times a day and some people just don't bother with it...like it's a chore.

And don't walk out of the bathroom( which is right next to the front desk, and I can hear everything) wiping your DRY hands on paper towels( which make a crunchy noise if they are not damp) acting like you washed your hands!! And you didn't even turn they water on!!! You can tell if someone washed their hands just by looking at them...they are usually a little red from the water( hot or cold) and the rubbing you do with the soap and paper towel. Seriously, I know these people were raised better than this.

And who, that works in a DENTAL office doesn't make sure their breath is fresh? The particular person I am talking about doesn't chew gum, eat mints, use mouthwash, or brush their teeth( I'm sure they do just not ever at the office) , even after eating onions!!! And they come and lean over you and talk and breath all up in your personal space. They say they don't chew gum because it hurts their jaw muscles.....well, keep a stock of mints or use Listerine. We supply it, along with toothbrushes and toothpaste, in the bathroom for your personal use!!!

People are just gross if you really sit and observe them.....I am a big people watcher so i am constantly finding gross things people do. I wish I could stop, but I feel like I need to watch so I can be cautious when dealing with that particular person or situation. Call me Crazy.....

Do you ever notice people's nasty habits?
