Ok, There is all of this fuss about the series of books called "Twilight". Now, the movie is going to be out in theaters on Friday. The lead guy was at some kind of meet and greet thing here in Dallas last week. They showed it on the news and it was pure pandemonium. So, I took it upon myself to find a quick run down of what it was exactly about. This is the description that I copied from the website :
TWILIGHT is an action-packed, modern-day love story between a teenage girl and a vampire. Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) has always been a little bit different, never caring about fitting in with the trendy girls at her Phoenix high school. When her mother re-marries and sends Bella to live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, she doesn't expect much of anything to change. A little odd, but okay. I have been watching all of the celebrity gossip shows and looking at all of the sites. I just don't see what the fuss is when it comes to Robert Pattinson!! He's is very unattractive, yet all of these girls are obsessed with him. It blows my mind. Then, I find out that Cam Gigandet( Marissa's bad boyfriend from the OC) is also in the movie! Now, he's a hottie...yet I never knew he was in the movie until I watched Access Hollywood a few days ago. Why would the girls not be in "amazement" over this young man. He has beautiful blue eyes. And I watched his interview....seems very charming and down to earth. But there has been no hype about him being in the movie. Once again, it blows my mind. Robert Pattinson is a very "pointy" person....and I just don't see the attraction in that!
So, would you rather look at this for the whole movie?
Or this yummy little guy? I think we all know my choice!
But I am still undecided on if I want to see the movie. My 16yr old niece went to buy the book the other day so she could read it before she went to see the movie this weekend. I just don't know about it....is it strictly for teenagers or is it ok for a woman who is 30 to check it out?

Of course you can go see it...those actors are usually closer to your age than the characters they play anyway! I agree - don't see the attraction. On a side note...Kristen Stewart has the "trouble teen" part down, huh?
See, I read the book and was scared to see who they made as Edward. And I have to say, I was disappointed when I was google imaging him. But in the movie, he was perfect. PERFECT.
