The evening started out as a good idea. then, we made the DREADED trip to Wal Mart!! This time of year, it is absolutely the worst place you could ever be.....EVER!! Not only do they not have enough lanes open, but they are jam packed with ignorant, slow moving people!!!! So, as Katharyne( co-worker/friend) and I set out to pick up a few last minute things to finish our gift wrapping, etc for our office party today, we thought it was a good idea to go. Well, it wasn't and every reason you could ever think of to not like Wal Mart was confirmed!! That's exactly why I love Target. No lines, easy parking, clean, and the people are not that stupid!!
Anyway, after the Wally World debacle, we went back to the apartment to decorate our Gingerbread Houses. We both bought one so we would have our own to decorate. Well, I will let the pictures speak for my frustration......

Me holding my roof on......I made my frosting too runny and didn't have any confectioners sugar to add to it.....and it didn't really ever stiffen up!
After about 15 min straight of holding on the roof I let go to decorate it.....and this is what happened...over and over!
Finally, after using all the restraint I had to not chunk it, I decided to just take it off! I was done!! This night was more stress than I anticipated and had had enough! I didn't have this much trouble last year......Do you see my little lighted speakers in the background? lol....We were jammin' out!
Katharyne's frosting was super thick......but she managed to get it to keep her house together. They decorating job was sad though...haha!

Maybe ya'll should have combined your frostings??? Next year I'll let Bryce decorate one with Katharyne, haha!
