B-O-R-I-N-G!!

That pretty much sums up my weekend. Friday, I went grocery shopping...woohoo!! And that was also payday. So every payday as of late, I have been putting money back for NYC. I am up to $650...in case anyone was wondering. I still have until March 14th to save. Plus I did my taxes last week and that will be a big help when I get my refund.

Saturday, i felt the need to get out of the apartment and possibly find a clothing Item that I couldn't resist. Well...after going to Old Navy, Kohls, Target, and to another Target, I decided it wasn't in the cards for me that day. I found an plaid umbrella for $3 for NYC, regular price $14.99!! I heard it rains in Ny a lot in March...gotta be prepared. So, after all of my stops, I decided it didn't even feel right to be out "shopping". I felt like I was doing something wrong..like that "extra" money could be put back! OH NO....I can't even shop anymore!!! I am in such a "save money mode" that I felt GUILTY for even looking. I decided to give up and go visit my mother...that was boring but kept me from spending money...lol

Sunday, I decided not to leave the house...that way I wouldn't sadly attempt to spend money. I stayed in my PJ's all day and watched a few movies. I borrowed Lone Star State of Mind from my sister. It was hilarious!!! I really enjoyed it. I also rented House Bunny....total waste of time and money. and then I pulled In The Land of Women out of my collection....I love that movie! It brought back memories of watching "Seth Cohen"(Adam Brody) on The O.C.....I miss that show. After that, I decided to purge my closet and throw some things away. After 2 trash bags of old clothes and 3 trips to the dumpster I was done. So It was a productive day anyway...even If I did stay in my pj's.
