In the back of the magazine, Traveler, they are having a photography contest. Now, I have never done anything like this before but I think I want to submit a photo...in the Amateur division obviously. The grand prize is a 10 day safari trip to Tanzania. First prize is 6 night stay for 2 at the Coconut Bay Resort in St. Lucia. Third prize is a $1,000 gift certificate towards a photo workshop at Santa Fe Workshops.
There are also 7 merit prizes for a Nikon L100 Coolpix camera and accessories. And a bonus prize.....the image will be in the Jan/Feb 2010 edition of the magazine.
So, I'm gonna spend the $12 and enter...now I need help on what picture...I don't expect to win but I would like to get a merit award and a new camera...lol

Or, I have until Aug.1st to take a new picture....I need opinions....please!!

I think it has to be a scenic picture...but I am not sure.
