It was a nice one...

A few things I did this weekend......

Friday- rented Seven Pounds with Will Smith.....It was a pretty good movie...I didn't tear up or anything like some people who have watched it did. But it was still pretty good.

Saturday- I met up with my mother and sister in Dallas to have lunch at Chili's and go see Halloween II. Now, I know, you are asking why I wanted to see that movie....Well, I love all of the Halloween movies...It is a must that I see them ALL.....I knew it was going to be bad, but HORRIBLE was what it turned out to be. But I sat through it. And when I walked out, I was soo confused as to what I spent my $7.50 on...and I wanted my wasted time back!! lol...Oh well...Then, that night, I got caught up in the Micheal(Jackson) Forever Weekend on TV One. There was an old 30th anniversary Special that they were showing...Artists doing tributes and such. It was soo old that 98 Degrees was on there with N'Sync...haha. But it was cool seeing the Jackson 5 perform together as adults. For some reason, I get stuck on the black entertainment channels on the weekends...My roommate makes fun of me. But on BET there is a show about football I like to watch called The Game...haha.

Sunday- I was invited to go to a Cowboy Church with a friend of mine. It is a come as you are church. They are just there to worship and could care less about what you look like...which is soo rare these days in certain churches. Anyway, I really liked it. Afterwards, we headed to Greenville to eat at Cracker Barrel......Chicken and Dumplings were SOOO good!! Not on my healthier lifestyle plan, but It was my cheat!! And it was worth it!!

Then I summed my weekend up with a trip to the gym. I was still full from lunch(hours later) so I walked for 35 minutes faster paced and 20 minutes at a slower pace...Actually, the only reason I walked for that long was that I got caught up on music videos on the little TV that was on my treadmill...haha....hey, it helps take my mind off of the dreaded task and I walk longer...every bit helps!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend!!
