The other day I was talking with a friend and we were talking about going to New York. Well, the only way I am ever going to be able to afford to go is to do things the old fashion way and SAVE MY MONEY!!!!! This is a big task for me because I am horrible about saving money. But I REALLY want to go to the Big Apple soon. So we have set a date of next fall. Now, I have to make myself cut back on things and save as much money as possible......starting January '09. I figured I can put a little extra money back before then but that it maybe hard. I have my trip to Austin in October for the big 3-0, and then Christmas is right around the corner. So, we will see how much money I can save. I am going to try before 2009 though! Keep your fingers crossed and wish me luck!

I went to NY in February. It's awesome. Everyone should go there at least once in their lifetime. I loved it so much I would live there... but not permanently... only for like a year or 6 months.
