A few streets short of "The Block"

I cancelled my pre-order of the NKOTB cd because it wasn't going to ship out until the 2nd! So, I went to Target on my lunch break and bought the Deluxe Edition. Well, I'm a huge New Kinds fan but I'm not so sure about this cd. It all sounds the same......every song! They might be trying a little too hard to be "hip". They should have come back with a little more of an "easy listening" sound.

I know their music isn't going to be the same as 1990, but come on! There are no ballads on the cd, which is what they are somewhat known for.....I have listened to many post- NKOTB songs from Joe and I know he is capable of singing those guys out of the water but his vocal talent is hardly displayed on this cd. And Donnie isn't a rapper so he needs to stop!! lol And why is Jon in the group again?!? Well, I will have to score this cd as a C.....not as good as anticipated.

I did buy Sugarland's new cd this weekend, and love it! I love to sing loud like Jennifer Nettles, I just can't watch her! Her dancing is a bit much for me, but her hair is cute! =)
