If you read my blog then you will remember a previous post about planning a trip to NYC for next fall. Well, since that post I have went spare change crazy...lol I haven't OFFICIALLY started saving money( start Jan. '09)for the trip yet. But in the meantime, I have been picking up every penny, nickle, dime, and quarter I see. I have a few dollar bills saved but nothing big. I had started out with an old pickle jar to save the money in and decided the other day, that was not going to do the trick. So, the crafty side came out and I took a trip to Hobby Lobby. They had piggy banks for 50% off.......for a total of $3.24!! Yes!! So, I went home and went through my scrap booking stuff and came up with some decoration for it. I thought it would inspire me to actually SAVE......because I have voiced my place before on saving money. It's hard for me as I am not disciplined enough, but that is about to change. I will probably be miserable at first with no money but in the end it will be so worth it....so worth it!
