CMT 2009 Awards

Last night, I watched the show. And I can honestly say...it was nothing special. Brad Paisley's performance was pretty good. And Keith Urban is always outstanding.....that man can work a guitar!! And then it was time for Dierks Bentley. He performed his new single "Sideways"...I like the song but his performance along with the official video is just completely awkward!! He isn't playing the guitar which is unusual for him....and you can tell. His hands don't know what to do and his dancing is sad and off beat.....poor guy!! Then, the end of the show....Taylor Swift and Def Leppard did "Pour Some Sugar On Me".......oh man, I can't stand her!!! She is soooooo gangly and awkward....And if she can sing then by golly, so can I!! She was dancing and it was horrible and grinding and all up against the lead singer(I don't know his name) of Def Leppard. He is old enough to be her father....ewwwww!!! SO, all in all, I am not sure which was worse..... Taylor's performance, Dierk's dancing, or the fact that I waited 2 1/2 hours to see the Eli Young Band perform for 40 seconds on the side stage while taking the show to commercial.....and starving because I couldn't leave to get anything to eat or I would miss it!!!! I am such a dedicated fan!!! I love you Mike Eli......lol
