My Weekend

Friday, We(my sister Cindi and I) took my BIL out for his birthday. He didn't know what we had planned. Well, We had dinner at Salt Grass and got tickets to see Dane Cook!! We got them months ago......and he said he had no clue. To make a long story short, he hated it!!! He thought it was vulgar, inappropriate, and intolerable....haha! Surprise Bryce!!

But, I will give Bryce credit.....it was more vulgar that usual. And he wasn't as funny as he has been in the past. Oh well......it was still fun.
Cin and I waiting for Dane Cook to take stage Saturday, I had a lunch date with some high school friends. It was so much fun catching up and talking about times past and present. One of them I hadn't talked to in over a year. We have always kept in contact....its just off and on. Anyway, after a 3 hour lunch we had to go...they had kids to get back to! But a girls night in August is going to be planned.....the summer is just so busy for everyone.

After lunch, I went to my mother's house to visit with my sister and her kiddos while they were there. Those kids crack me up....

Sunday was Father's Day, and since I don't celebrate it, I took my mom to see my Pepaw. Now, that was something else. It was just my mom and I, and my Pepaw and my uncle. And ALL they did was complain about politics, technology advancement, and the world in general!! Talk about a beating...lol....Oh, and to top it off he didn't have the A/C on!!! Ugh....Texas is sooooo hot in the summer!! He told me the only things that are free in this world are outside breezes, sun, moon, and stars...haha....Oh, and that I should be working in a Cotton Field to learn the real world of working!! Haha..gotta love your elders!!
