A Crying Day?? Seriously.....

We had a patient walk in the office first thing this morning, her eyes all red and puffy. I just looked at her as she explained why she was here. Like I don't know why you are here....I made the appointment for you YESTERDAY!!! Anyway....then she proceeds to tell me that "Today is her crying day....She just can't seem to stop..." What?? I don't need to know your personal info...if it doesn't involve your teeth I don't care. This is not your therapist's office nor your best friends house!!! And if you know me..you know I don't deal with crying!!I cry maybe twice a year......it's just not my thing. So, what I really wanted to tell her is "...Get a tissue and sit down. Unless you are jobless, fighting overseas, dying, or a nut case....you have no reason to cry!" Keep that stuff at home.....we don't take sympathy in the DENTAL field for people like you! Call your Therapist! hahahahaha What's wrong with this world??
