Oh, To Be 18 Again...

Yesterday, shortly after I arrived home from my weekend trip to Oklahoma to visit family, I was faced with a decision. I was soooo tired of the loud Effing upstairs neighbors, I had to say something. Now, granted, I had not been home all weekend, but they are loud ALL the time...and this time it set me off!! I marched upstairs and and knocked on their door like I was the authorities...haha. They acted like they didn't wanna answer it, but eventually did. I asked them to please and try to keep it down. They obliged and I was on my way back down.

Thirty minutes later, they are STILL being extremely loud! So, I grab the broom and let them have it by banging on the ceiling!! I know that is extreme but it sounds like they have a bowling league practicing in their apartment!! Two minutes later, I hear a knock on our door.....Aud takes off in her room laughing and I steam roll across the living room, pissed off to answer the door. I open it abruptly, and I find two teenage boys standing there.

They ask if they are being loud...um, hello, do you think I like banging on the ceiling for entertainment?? And it's not even the guys that LIVE there...it's their friends who are ALWAYS there!! I lay into them about their noise level and they don't get it...and as we(Aud has come out of her room by now) they interrupt us and ask us about our door mat. It says, "The Party Starts Here", with martini glasses...lol...I said that may have been true 2 yrs. ago when we moved in but not now!! At this point, we have 5 guys 18-19 yrs old talking to us. So, when all was said and done, after our 10 minutes convo about the noise level, we were asked our phone number( they said to communicate about the noise, yeah right..lol) and I was invited to come upstairs and "chill" with them...and also invited to watch a Cowboys game sometime....hahahahaha!!! Oh to be 18 and dumb again....
